Service Description
Increase your sewing know-how and polish your technique with our series of Masterclass sessions.
In this session we are exploring zips:
We will look at how to choose a zip, several methods of inserting a zip and when to use them. We will then have a go at the different methods, creating a sample folder to take home.
Techniques covered:
Centred zip
Lapped zip
Hand picked zip
Exposed zip
Invisible zip
How to sew a fly front
Fixing zips
In order to participate fully in this class, you should be a confident sewing machine user, able to set up a sewing machine and sew accurately. You have probably made a some simple projects, maybe even a couple of garments, and know basic sewing terminology.
