Service Description
Increase your sewing know-how and polish your technique with our series of Masterclass sessions.
In this session we are putting in pockets:
We will look at pocket styles, and how to sew them . We will then have a go at the different methods, creating a sample folder to take home.
Techniques covered:
Patch pockets
Flap pockets
In seam pockets
Zipped pockets
Welted pockets
Welted pockets with flap
How to put a pocket in the seam of a pocketless garment!
In order to participate fully in this class, you should be a confident sewing machine user, able to set up a sewing machine and sew accurately. You have probably made a some simple projects, maybe even a couple of garments, and know basic sewing terminology.
