Sewing Skills for Teens - Spring Term 1

Service Description

Come along and learn to create and design your own clothes! Over the course of a year we will start with basic machine operations, and progress steadily through a range of skills and projects, enabling you first to make simple garments and gradually progressing onto "hacking" patterns and embellishing your makes, in order to create unique designs. This course is ideal for anyone undertaking Bronze or Silver Duke of Edinburgh awards, but is also suitable for anyone in the 13-18 age range who wants to learn to sew or design fashion! You will be given a list of fabric required for each project, which you can either obtain yourself or you can buy as a kit from me. I try very hard not to cancel sessions, but it is occasionally unavoidable. Should this occur you will be offered a refund for the missed session. Fees are otherwise non refundable.
