Sewing Club - Tuesday Afternoon block 2

Service Description

For people who have sewn a few items, and are ready to start on their own projects, but don't quite have the confidence to "go it alone", for those who don't have the space to set up their sewing at home, or simply for those in search of company when they sew... Join us at our weekly sewing club, learn and perfect your skills and develop your techniques, and gain the support of a community while you sew. How it works: You bring with you the pattern and fabric for your chosen project. If you are not sure what you want to make, or which patterns best suit your skills, I can discuss this with you prior to the course starting. When you arrive, we will spend a bit of time "skill building". Each week we will focus on a different skill or technique, and make a sample for our folders. In this way we will build up a repertoire of new skills to use in our projects. We will then break out the tea/coffee and cake! The rest of the session will be spent working on our independent projects: and I am there to offer support and to guide you through any parts of the project which are unfamiliar to you. Sewing club currently runs on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday evening, and you pay for a block of classes which entitles you to attend on one or other day. However, if you are unable to make a specific date, you can swap to another session, subject to availability. I try very hard not to cancel sessions, but it is occasionally unavoidable. Should this occur you will be offered a choice between attending a future session or receiving a refund for the missed session.
