Do you have a favourite jumper that you can no longer wear, due to nibbling by moths? Have your best woolly tights suddenly developed holes? Do the heels of your thickest walking socks get very thin?
Bring them along to the Mending Knitwear Workshop, and I will show you a variety of different ways to fix the problem, from the nearly invisible Swiss Darning, to the more modern techniques of "Visible Mending". we will look at mending holes and reinforcing thin areas, as well as stitching loose seams and unravelled edges.
It would be great if you are able to bring some items which you need to mend, so we can discuss different ways of achieving this.

I try very hard not to cancel sessions, but if I do have to you will be offered the choice of either attendance at an alternative session or a refund. Fees are not refundable in any other circumstance.
