Service Description

A 3 hour workshop, covering the hand stitches needed to mend or make most items of clothing. We will be covering: Mending a hem Mending a seam Darning a hole Sewing on a button These mending techniques are suitable for most woven fabrics, and may be suitable for some knitted fabrics. We will be delivering another workshop later in the term, focussing on mending knitwear. It would be great if you are able to bring some items which you need to mend, so we can discuss different ways of achieving this. All materials included. I try very hard not to cancel sessions, but if I do have to you will be offered the choice of either attendance at an alternative session or a refund. Fees are not refundable in any other circumstance.
