Do you know how to crochet? Perhaps you learned in lockdown, or as a child, and want to brush up your skills? Or maybe you crochet regularly, and would just enjoy some likeminded company, new ideas or encouragement now and again? Crochet club meets fortnightly. We start off with sharing any projects we might have finished since we last spoke, or anything we might have seen that has inspired us with new ideas. Then we turn on the kettle, get out out our hooks, and work on our chosen projects, taking advantage of the collective expertise of other members to ask questions, learn new stitches or get help to manage a tricky bit of our project. Why not join us, learn and perfect your skills and develop your techniques, and gain the support of a community while you crochet? How it works: You bring with you the tools and yarn for your chosen project. If you are not sure what you want to make, or have no crochet tools, then we do have a small stock which can be purchased during the session. Crochet club currently runs on Thursday mornings, and you can either pay per class or for a block of classes which entitles you to attend the sessions of your choice, subject to availability. It is important to book your class prior to attending, and if you need to cancel you must if you give 24 hours notice in order for your session to be transferred to another date. Late cancellations are, I am afraid, non-refundable/transferrable. There is a minimum number of attendees needed to run the club, and this policy is to help ensure sustainability. I try very hard not to cancel sessions, but it is occasionally unavoidable. Should this occur you will be offered a choice between attending a future session or receiving a refund for the missed session.
